Want to work
together?

Four ways I work with companies and operators. Pick the one that matches your situation, or just email me or book a call with a paragraph of context.

Engagement modes

Full-time CMO / Head of Growth

Open to highly selective full-time roles at Seed to Series B SaaS where I can own the entire growth function.

Best fit: AI-native SaaS, B2B SaaS, devtools, vertical SaaS.

Full-time Performance Marketing Manager

Owning paid acquisition end-to-end — Google, Meta, LinkedIn — from budget allocation to the creative loop to attribution. A $3M/year paid account at ~1.9× lifetime value at SaaSmic, and a $150K/month global budget as CMO at BetterPic.

Best fit: SaaS with $50K to $500K/month spend where paid is the growth bottleneck.

Full-time AI-Native Growth Marketer

Building the growth function on AI-first workflows — agents in production, prompts as infrastructure, taste as the moat. What I did at BetterPic: $1K to $270K MRR with a four-person team.

Best fit: Post-PMF SaaS ready to run growth on leverage, not headcount.

Part-time Contractor

One part-time contract at a time — a defined slice of the growth function I can own alongside a full-time role. Paid acquisition, AI workflow builds, or a specific channel where you need an operator, not an advisor.

Best fit: SaaS teams that need senior execution on a specific problem, weekly, until it's solved.

Who this isn't for

Strong filters save everyone time. If any of these describe your situation, we're not a fit. Saying so up front is the point.

  • Pre-product / pre-revenue startups

I'm wrong for you until you have something real in market.

  • Marketplaces, social apps, or consumer ad-tech

My playbook is SaaS funnels. Different game.

  • Pure brand / 'we just need awareness' engagements

I optimize for revenue. Impressions are not the goal.

  • Teams that want a contractor instead of a thinking partner

    I'll push back. If that's a problem, we're not a fit.

  • Companies looking for the cheapest option

Selective on price by design. If budget is the conversation, I'm not your match.

Apoorv Sharma is a performance marketing leader and AI-native growth operator. He has spent 9+ years hands-on in user acquisition, paid search, paid social, and CRO, running full-funnel GTM for B2B and B2C products across the US, EU, and global markets. Most recently he was CMO at BetterPic, a venture-funded consumer AI platform. He built its go-to-market motion from launch, led by Google Ads with SEO, AEO, CRO, and messaging, and took the product from ~$1K to ~$270K in monthly revenue in 17 months. That motion drove 50% of company revenue, and the company raised $2.5M. As CMO he led a team of 4, owned a $150K/month global paid budget, and built 8 AI agents that tripled execution throughput and freed 30 hours a week for customer marketing. He also consulted for Runflow, an AI image model API, where an agent-run sign-up engine across AEO and paid ads grew sign-ups 300%. Before BetterPic, he managed a $3M/year paid account at 1.9× lifetime value at SaaSmic. At Market 8 he led paid media across 8 B2B SaaS accounts at ~2.4× ROI, ran 60+ A/B tests that lifted average conversion rate 86%, and rebuilt 40+ landing pages for a 300%+ conversion lift. The career started in his family's business, Sansha Spas, where he headed growth across spas in 9 five-star hotels. In 2018 he moved to a HubSpot partner agency and grew DemandFarm from $500K to $2.5M ARR in 8 months, work that contributed to a HubSpot Impact Award. He was named CMO of the Year at the DMAT Conference in Dubai in 2025. Today he is building Bennu, a customer-led growth system that helps AI companies find product-market fit and keep customers as they scale. Apoorv does his best work with autonomy and a clear outcome.

FAQ
Q.01

What stage do you optimize for?

Seed through Series B B2B SaaS. Earlier than that I'm too senior. Later than that the marginal lift gets smaller and I'd rather work with a team that can grow into bigger budgets.
Q.02

Categories you're strongest in?

AI-native SaaS, B2B SaaS broadly, devtools, vertical SaaS, prosumer creative tools. Less interest in pure marketplaces or no-revenue consumer plays.
Q.03

Are you open to relocating?

I'm based in Gurugram, working with US and EU clients across timezones. Happy to relocate or travel for the right full-time role. Open to most cities globally.
Q.04

Full-time only, or also fractional / advisory?

Full-time is the priority — CMO, Performance Marketing Manager, or AI-native Growth Marketer. I'll also take on one part-time contract at a time when it's a clear scope I can own weekly. No fractional / advisory retainers. Email me with a one-paragraph context on where the company is and I'll tell you if it's a fit.
Q.05

Do you take equity?

Yes, and I prefer it to be a meaningful component of the offer. I treat equity like an investment.
Q.06

How fast do you reply?

Same day on most emails. If you don't hear back in 48 hours, assume it got buried and resend.

Short emails get
replies fastest.
